(Weekend of June 23-June 25, 2006)
Another Hard Day's Night!
This week in the Underground Garage, it was the summer of 1964 and the British Invasion was on baby. Led by the Beatles, who already had a bunch of hits including the unprecedented top five singles in Billboard Magazine. The pop music revolution would go on to some new with the release of A Hard Days Night, the movie that would take the Beatles from superstars and make them intimate life long friends. And by the way this also led directly to MTV. Joining us will be the Rascals, Badfinger, the Remains and the Raspberries. New music from Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Cheap Trick, the Hellacopters, Pearl Jam, the Maggots, Neil Young, and the new album from England by Primal Scream. Find out what Billy Fury, , the Marvelettes, and the Ramones have in common. It's a celebration of A Hard Days Night baby, this weekend in the Underground Garage.
