Show 878 - A Diet Of Worms

Air Date:

Tuesday, 29 January 2019

Where you at baby?

Bored? Jaded? Confused by the world?

Well I got the answer for you.

Turn off the TV, leave the newspaper in the driveway, and join us in the Underground Garage.

We are partying with the Ramones, the Animals, the Small Faces, and the Electric Flag.

Find out what Graham Parker, Paul Butterfield, and Marianne Faithfull have in common.

It is a little bit of clarity in a otherwise confusing world this weekend in the Underground Garage.

5 cools plus one. We Ain’t Got Nothing Yet (Blues Magoos) too cool, plus one = Tears Of A Clown (Brian Ray) rocks it here and with Sir Paul, Boom Boom (Animals) keep hitting it, Have You Seen Your Mother? (Rolling Stones) a long running band, She’d Rather Be With Me (Turtles) way back in time & cool & Change The World (Joan Jett & the Blackhearts) Joan don't mess. Thanks Stevie, Keep on Rockin.

Is Stevie channeling Dewey Philips while doing the auto parts commercial? Sounds great.

Not listened to this show yet, but looking forward to it.

Just wanted to post a big thank you to Little Steven and the current DOS line-up.

Went to the Leeds Academy last night to see LSDOS in the Summer of Sorcery show. Absolutely brilliant. 140 minutes of superb music in a wonderful show. The three backing singers must be exhausted after their gyrations.

Ironically last night was the Eurovision Song Contest which is about five hours of mindless pop from the musical bowels of Europe.

I think I had the better evening.
