San Francisco!

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

Join us this weekend for our tribute to the great town of San Francisco.

Joining us will be the Jefferson Airplane, Sly & the Family Stone, Santana, and the Flaming Groovies.

There is nowhere on the internet that you will find out what Lawrence Fer- linghetti, Doris Day, and Big Pussy Bonpensiero have in common.

You must come to the only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio to find that out.

I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.

Thank You Very Much, Little Steven, for yet another 5-Star Up-Date Special! YES! San Francisco, Show # 810! WOW! Once again using the Ron Lynch patented system of picking at least 1 tune per set! Set 1! "Listen My Friends", because 1969 was all about "Volunteers" by Jefferson Airplane, because in 1969, there certainly was Revolution in the air. Set 2. "Codine Blues" by The Charlatans, because they were the house band at the famous Red Dog Saloon in SF! Extra points because it was written by Buffy St. Marie, who was a graduate of nearby UMASS-AMHERST! Love her tunes! Set 3. Must go with "Gomper" by The Rolling Stones, because the tune captures what a full-fledged Acid or Mescaline trip feels like!! Indeed, Perfect for San Francisco! Set 4. I hate to say it but I told you so, I am going with "Shake Some Action" by The Flamin' Groovies, because they are a group who are vastly underrated & deserve some recognition, from 1976. All Right, I'll throw in "Laugh Laugh" by The Beau Brummels, who actually were the very 1st Folk-Rock group & deserve to be acknowledged as such! Got that, all you Byrd fanatics? The Byrds were Great but The Beau Brummels were 1st! HA! Set 5! A Flat-Out Tie! 1st, "San Francisco Nights" by Eric Burdon & the Animals! Reason? Because "Walls move, Minds do too"! The other, The Chocolate Watchband with "Are You Going To Be There At The Love-In? Reason? Because The Love-Ins capture the Summer Of Love, which originated in San Francisco! Thanks again, Little Steven! I'll see you next week, ON The Radio! To ALL Who Live FOR & IN The Underground Garage, EEEYAAHH! SMRZ!

Like I said in the last show the Garage just got cooler cause the man just above me here is back again with passion, soulful meaning and funny too. 5 cool ones here people. Omaha (Moby Grape) just for insurance I pick this one, Summertime Blues (Blues Cheer) a rockin summer tune, Faded (Junkyard) still and always a hard sound song, Total Destruction In Your Mind (Santana & Isley Brothers) I can see why this was picked as the cool one, San Franciscan Nights (Eric Burdon & the Animals) 3:24 Sweet song felt like I was there and they mention Harleys, too cool. Thanks Stevie, Keep on Rockin.

Cool image... But the one on the App shows more of the naked girl's bum...

A bit late but wanted to testify....saw Steven and the Disciples of Soul in LA on October 19- it was cool from start to finish and fun! The stage is filled with players who bring it with joy and fantastic funky dance moves turned out nonstop by backup singers. Stevie is just too cute for words as he rocks, swings, doowops, jams rasta style, gets low down then funky all while wearing beautiful Italian leather shoes. I’m not gushing or exaggerating- his show is great! Also you leave with more energy than you come with( which isn’t hard if you crawled through LA traffic to get there). A guaranteed total “worth it” situation.

Hello Marlene ! Cool that you could make ir to a show !!! No visit in Montreal...

    • Robert P Smarse Jr.

Nice concert review, Marlene! Sounds like a Fun Show! Very Cool, Indeed! By the way, any idea what happened to The Administrator? Just wondering. Maybe on the road with Stevie! Now, I've Lost my Momentum, as well as My Mojo! Oh Well, there's always Halloween! Take Care, Marlene! May Peace & Love Shine their Light on YOU!!!!

      • Marlene Sullivan

Well if you lose the third M, Money.... you’ll probably start listening to jazz..just kidding...Take Care Robert and thank you!
