Show 782 - Pirate Radio

Air Date:

Tuesday, 28 March 2017

Greetings land lovers, Little Steven here with our weekly pop quiz.

What do Captain Hook, Captain Kidd, Johnny Kidd, and Joseph Kennedy have in common?

That’s right, they were all pirates and we are celebrating Pirate Radio this weekend in the Underground Garage.

Our scallywags and roustabouts include the Troggs, the Cream, the Romantics, and the Shangri-Las.

What do Arthur Conley, Ringo Starr, and Sonny Boy Williamson have in common?

It’s a Pirate Radio Rock ‘n Roll dance party this weekend in the Underground Garage.

what exactly is the shazam app and how can i get it on my cell phone?

    • babygirl614

You go to whatever you use to buy apps--the Apple iTunes store, or Google Play--and download it from there. It's free.
Shazam allows you to press a button and find out a song that's playing on the radio (or anywhere). It will give you song title and artist, sometimes the album too. Also a link to buy it, if you wish.

Great version of St Valentine's Day by Little Steven (although the original by The Cocktail Slippers is also very good).
