Show 728 - On The Road

Air Date:

Monday, 14 March 2016

Hey baby, Little Steven here, and this week in the Underground Garage we are celebrating Jack Kerouac, the man who changed the world.

Celebrating with us will be the J. Geils Band, the Soncis, the Beatles, Moby Grape, and Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels.

Come discover what Taj Mahal, Dee Dee Sharp, and Handsome Dick Manitoba have in common.

It’s the man who wrote the book who changed the world.

This weekend in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.

I’ll see you in the Underground Garage.

C'est le show de Ti-Jean !!!! Un p'tit gars du Québec...

By the way, here is something unusual, but not the first time it happened because it was the same with shows 570 and 571... The same song from the same artist is played on both the last song of the last set of a show and the intro song of the following show... In this case, J. Geils Band's "Cruisin' for a Love"...

The more cool ones on Route Underground Garage. Route 66 (Live) (Rolling Stones), Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man (Bob Seger System), Charlene (Garry Tallent), (I Live For) Cars & Girls (Dictators) & Highway 61 Revisited (Bob Dylan) only Bob can write/play & sing like this. Thanks Stevie, Keep on Rockin.
