Show 703 - Ready To Snap

Air Date:

Monday, 21 September 2015

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

Have you just about had it?

I mean are you just sick of everything?

Are you tired of hearing these stupid politicians talk?

Tune in this week to the Underground Garage where we don’t care about such things. We are too busy rocking and rolling and having a good time.

Joining us will be Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, the Yardbirds, Donovan, Johnny Rivers, Solomon Burke, the Chiffons, the Who, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, and Tommy James & the Shondells.

We are calling the show Ready To Snap, and I will see you this weekend in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio, the Underground Garage.

Cool Update, but the songs played in set two are those from set three... Thus set three is played twice...

        Hello Mr Administrator,

Thanks for the info... Since you have access to my e-mail adress, you can write to me... I have a list of the shows with jukebox error (not playing, skipping, ending before set end)... Will galdly provide the info to make that great place even greater...

Hi Steve. I'm a cabbie from Reading pa. I just recently discovered the Underground Garage show. I really don't listen to the radio much because they always play the s.o.s. However, I've quickly become a Garage fan.I love obscure music and deep tracks by popular artists that never make it on the radio. Keep up the good work. I will be listening every Sunday night as will every fare I pick up. Long live rock, be it dead or alive.

5 cool ones. Liked the Steve McQueen info. Joan Jett does ROCK and was not under rated here in Canada. Better Days (Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes), The Same Sun (Pretty Things) very cool song , Can You See Me (Jimi Hendrix Experience) & I Love Playin’ With Fire (Runaways). Thanks Stevie, Keep on Rockin.

Good show, Steven. I must confess this is the first time I have ever heard The Inner Light by the Beatles.

    Hey Steven,

In your list of all girl bands you omitted The Cake.
