Show 612 - Christmas A Go-Go

Air Date:

Sunday, 22 December 2013

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

It’s our favorite time of year in the Underground Garage. It’s time for our annual Christmas A Go-Go show, featuring the Ramones, the Beatles, Darlene Love, the Ronettes, and what would Christmas be without Jan & Dean.

Tune in to find out what Joe Pesci, Soupy Sales, Tiny Tim, and Rufus Thomas have in common, and yes we are keeping tabs on Ed ‘Kookie’ Brynes too.

This weekend it’s the wildest Christmas party in town, baby.

I’ll see you in the Underground Garage.

Sock It To Me Santa (Bob Seger & The Last Heard), Rock n Roll Santa (Michael Des Barres), Little Drummer Boy (Joan Jett & the Blackhearts), We Need A Little Christmas (Nancy Sinatra) the other ones in set 4 are very good too but Nancy's tone and voice is just too sexy & All Alone On Christmas (Darlene Love) 5 Cool ones
    Thanks Stevie, Keep on Rockin.

Glad I caught up to this. I'm using this show and the New Year's show on January 5th as my "closeout" musically of the holiday season.

"Clement" Moore's poem isn't called 'Twas The Night Before Christmas'. It's name is 'Account of a Visit From St. Nicholas'.
