Show 425 - BOB DYLAN 2010

Air Date:

Monday, 24 May 2010

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

It is Bob Dylan’s birthday this week, and helping us celebrate will be the Ramones, Gary U.S. Bonds, Jason & the Scorchers, George Harrison, and Jimi Hendrix.

Very cool new stuff from the Grip Weeds, Gaslight Anthem, the Hotrats, Nick Curran & the Lowlifes, Jesse Malin & the Saint Marks Social, and Locksley.

Come find out what the Turtles, Little Richard, and Al Aronowitz have in common.

I’ll give you a hint; it has something to do with Reverend Gary Davis.

I’ll see you at the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio this weekend in the Underground Garage.

In set one, it is Little Richard's "Groovy Little Suzie" that is played, not "Ready Teddy"...

Also, in set 2, the Jam's So Sad about Us" isn't played at all...

All in all, still a great show as usual !!!
