Show 401 - ROCK & ROLL CIRCUS 2009

Air Date:

Sunday, 22 November 2009

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

When was the last time you went to the circus? Well come one, come all, and join us this weekend in the Underground Garage, where we are celebrating the Rolling Stones’ Rock & Roll Circus, that featured the Who, Taj Mahal, the super group jam with Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Keith Richards, and Mitch Mitchell, and of course the Stones themselves introducing some new songs, like Jumpin’ Jack Flash. Brand new stuff from the Verbs out of New York City, I Was A King from Norway, Locksley from Madison, Wisconsin, and the Len Price 3. Come discover what Stevie Wonder, Marianne Faithfull, and Ivor the Engine Driver have in common. This weekend in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio. We’re going to the circus baby.
