Show 394 - WILD WILD WEST

Air Date:

Sunday, 18 October 2009

Hey baby, Little Steven here with our weekly Underground Garage pop quiz.

What was the coolest TV show of the sixties that combined the Western, the Spy Flick, and Science Fiction?

No it wasn’t Our Miss Brooks, it was the Wild Wild West, and we are celebrating it this week in the Underground Garage.

Joining us will be Buffalo Springfield, Traffic, the Beatles, the Electric Flag, the Ramones, the Hollies, and the Yardbirds.

Very cool new stuff from Locksley, the Doughboys, Tinted Windows, Baby Woodrose, Prima Donna, the Raveonettes. And Pearl Jam.

It’s our celebration of one of the coolest TV shows of the sixties, the Wild Wild West.

This weekend, only in the Underground Garage.

    Corrections to playlist:
Set 1: Little Walter's "Nobody but You" is not played...
Set 5: The last song played is not from Reigning Sound ("I'd Much Rather Be with the Boys") as listed but Cream's "Deserted Cities of the Heart"...

Also, there are problems with the Juke Box... Only 2:38 are played in set 2 and only 12:09 in set 3...

Other than that, great show as usual...
