Show 348 - THE BIG T.N.T. SHOW '06

Air Date:

Monday, 01 December 2008

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

This week in the Underground Garage we are celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the Big T.N.T. Show.

What does that stand for?

I have no idea, but it features the Lovin’ Spoonful, Ike & Tina Turner, the Byrds, Bo Diddley, the Ronettes, and all kinds of cool people.

They are going to be joined by The Stones, the Beatles, the Ramones and the best new cool music from all around the world, The Urges from Dublin, the Krayolas from San Antonio, and the Belmondos from Paris, France.

Find out what Elvis Presley, Petula Clark, Illya Kuryakin have in common.

It’s a non-stop two hour Rock N’ Roll dance party this weekend in the Underground Garage.

    Great show as usual...
In set 1, the Urges' "Jenny, Jenny" is played, but is not listed...
In set 3, it is not "Return the Favour" that is played from the Hives, but "Main Offender"...

Why do all songs by The Seeds sound the same? A Thousand Shadows sounds just like Pushin Too Hard.....
