Show 335 - LABOR DAZE '08

Air Date:

Sunday, 31 August 2008

Oh say it ain’t so. Summer is over.

It’s all right, we are going to cheer you up this weekend in the Underground Garage with our Labor Daze special.

We’ve got the coolest records ever made starting with the Animals, the Dave Clark Five, the Sex Pistols, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and the Hollies.

We’re going to tell you why the Beatles made Yellow Submarine, how a shy guy like Van Morrison could be such an emotional monster, and how Julius Caesar invented the salad dressing.

Not to mention new stuff from the Shys, the Skybombers, the Bleeding Hearts, the Gurus, Elvis Costello & the Imposters, and my new favorite band, Stupidity.

It’s a Labor Day Rock ‘n Roll dance party this weekend in the Underground Garage.
