Show 443 - ED SULLIVAN 2010

Air Date:

Monday, 27 September 2010

Think of all the hosts on TV, game show hosts, variety show hosts, and who was the most bizarre?

Yeah he was pretty weird…I can see that…But no, it was Ed Sullivan, and we are celebrating him this week, and it’s not a coincidence that we are also celebrating the Zombies.

Joining us will be Bo Diddley, the Doors, the Stones, Elvis Presley, Curtis Mayfield, Gary U.S. Bonds, Donovan, and Cheap Trick.

Very cool new stuff from the Breakers, the Brian Setzer Orchestra, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, the Mother Truckers, Nick Curran and the Lowlifes, and Thee Wylde Oscars.

Come find out what Slim Harpo, the English police force, and a Rhinoceros has in common.

It’s the only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio. I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.
