Show 419 - MONEY HONEY 2010

Air Date:

Sunday, 11 April 2010

Hey baby, Little Steven here, and oh my goodness, look at what time it is.

That’s right. Put your hands up, this is a stick up from the government.

It’s tax time, and we’re celebrating all things that have to do with money, or lack thereof, this weekend with the Hollies, Junior Walker and the All Stars, the Dave Clark 5, the Kinks, the Stones, and Jeff Beck.

As always the top 10 coolest songs in the world or so this week, featuring Locksley, Nick Curran and the Lowlifes, Jesse Malin and the Saint Marks Social, Cheap Trick, Butch Walker and the Black Widows, the Contrast, and the legendary Peter Wolf.

I’ll see you this weekend in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.

You know where. That’s right. Right here in the Underground Garage.

Last song of Set 5 is not the Pretty Things' "Mr Evasion", but James Brown's "Down and Out in New York City"... Also, in Set 2, "Times of Our Lives" is from Cheap Trick, not The Contrast...
