Show 391 - GROUCHO MARX '09

Air Date:

Monday, 28 September 2009

Hey baby, Little Steven here, and we got all kinds of cool things happening in the Underground Garage this week.

Starting with Groucho Marx’s birthday and we also have a tribute to Dewey Phillips, one of the coolest DJs ever.

Joining us will be Graham Parker and the Rumour, the Byrds, the Bobby Fuller Four, Sam & Dave, the Kinks, and the Beatles.

Brand new music from Australia with the Booby Traps, from Chicago with Tinted Windows, New Jersey’s own Doughboys, Madison Wisconsin’s Locksley, and all the way to Denmark for Baby Woodrose.

Come find out what Elvis Presley, Dee Dee Sharp, and Margaret Dumont have in common.

It’s the only Rock n’ Roll Dance Party on the radio, and it’s the only place you’re going to be able to get the Beatles’ Rock Band game.

I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.
