Show 342 - THE T.A.M.I. SHOW '08

Air Date:

Monday, 20 October 2008

Hey baby, Little Steven here with our weekly Underground Garage pop quiz. What was one of the coolest Rock ‘n Roll movies ever?

No…No…No, but that was good…

It was the T.A.M.I. Show, Teen Age Music International, and we are celebrating its anniversary this week in the Underground Garage.

Joining us will be everybody that played the show: Jan & Dean, Marvin Gaye, the Rolling Stones, James Brown, the Supremes, Lesley Gore, the Beach Boys, and of course as usual we include the coolest new Rock ‘n Roll records in the world from the Cute Lepers out of Seattle, the Shys out of San Clemente, Vibeke from Norway, Broadway Calls out of Portland, Love Me Nots out of Phoenix, and our favorite new group, Stupidity from Stockholm, Sweden.

Find out what James Brown, Billy J. Kramer, and Howlin’ Wolf have in common.

See it all in Electronovision this weekend in the Underground Garage.

In set 5, the Love Me Nots' "Give 'em What They Want" is played but not in playlist... Also, Playlist states James Brown's "Out of Sight", but it's "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" that is acually played...
