Show 752 - John Peel

Air Date:

Wednesday, 31 August 2016

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

We have a fabulous show for you this weekend in the Underground Garage. We’re going to be saluting one of the greatest DJs of all time.

We’re going to talk about the Beatles last show.

We’re going to talk about one of the coolest movies of all time.

Joining us will be Elvis Presley, the Sex Pistols, the Animals, the Castaways, and the Raspberries.

Come find out what Janis Joplin, Caesar & Cleo, and Feargal Sharkey have in common.

It’s the only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio with go-go girls.

I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.

thank you for the classic update of this show!!! JOhn Peel was a major influence on rock and roll even if most Yankees never heard of him. Not crazy about the Struts but I must admit THIS tune is pretty damn cool!! rock and roll forever!!!! :)
