Show 699 - The Summer Soupy Shuffle

Air Date:

Monday, 24 August 2015

Oh my god, it’s the end of the summer.

Don’t freak out because help is on the way. It’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage this weekend doing the Summer Soupy Shuffle.

So I don’t know what’s going to happen. So you have to tune in and we will all find out together.

I do know we will be joined by Jeff Beck, the Who, Traffic, J. Geils Band, Sam Cooke, the Chiffons, and Little Richard.

Come find out what Rod Stewart, Honey Cone, and Eddie Hodges have in common.

It’s the last blowout, BBQ, beach party of the summer.

I’ll see you this weekend in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio, and on the beach, in the Underground Garage.

A repeat broadcast of a show whose theme is repeating segments from other shows is a bit odd, especially when we are told that the first segment hasn't been aired since 2003 when in fact it was aired in 2011 when this compilations show was first put together.

The new Fleshtones song is a great CSW pick. Good to see they are still making good music.
