Hey baby, Little Steven here.
A whole lot happened this week in history, and we are going to celebrate all of it this weekend in the Underground Garage.
We are going to be talking about Bob Dylan going electric and changing the whole world, and we are going to the movies to celebrate a very cool flick, which you may have missed.
Join us for the only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.

Cool Updated Repeat... However, it's weird that two songs in set five have the word "lion" in them after what happened to Cecil...
Yeah, forgot to mention... The repeat is a little different... Set three is not the Kim Fowley Set, but the Pastrami history/Sussman Volk Jr set... However, there is an error in the editing of the outro... It used the outro of set one of shows 430 and 587, with a mention of the Routers's "Hot Pastrami", while the song isn't played...
#name-checking -
@Behind The Wall of Sleep (The Smithereens song).
@Paul Jones not exactly @Kim Wilson on electric numbers but a lovely feel on acoustic harp songs.
Dick Waterman, who revived Son House's recording output, claimed he was shouting w/ Albert Grossman over feedback or such.
5 cool ones here. Maggie’s Farm (Bob Dylan), Like A Rolling Stone (Bob Dylan), You Know What To Do (Weeklings), Soul Man (Sam & Dave) & Privilege (Set Me Free) (Patti Smith Group). Thanks Stevie, Keep on Rockin.
thanks for this classic update and thanks for posting the shows!! LOVE Barrence Whitfield!!!
hey can somebody tell me how I find a song that was played on Sunday the 16th 2015 on the underground show? Thank you
I haven't heard the show yet since there are no radio stations in my area that play the show... What was the theme of the show ? Which set was it in?
Are the intro excerpts available to read? They are most entertaining.
No they're not... You'd have to transcribe them yourself... And if you think they're good, you should listen to those of the first hunnerd shows... Those were amazing... Yeah, I'm a little bit "two oat sodas, Gary" right now now...
Hey, Stevie ever thought of talking about the cool Japanese movie that inspired "Alien" and "Armageddon" ? I'm talking about "The Green Slime",,,
I think this is the first time I've heard the Beatles's Soldier of Love, great tune.
Patti Smith Group, "Privilege" is a GREAT tune!!!!!
