Show 644 - Doing The Mid Summer Freak Out

Air Date:

Monday, 04 August 2014

Hey baby, Little Steven here with our Underground Garage pop quiz of the week.

What do you usually do around this time of the year?

No…No…No…

That’s right you freak out because summer is almost over.

Don’t worry baby. Our Rock n’ Roll dance party continues in defiance of all chronological time.

Come to our house this weekend where you will be joined by the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Blues Magoos, and the Ramones.

Come find out what Johnny Thunders, Little Richard, and Frank Sinatra have in common.

It’s the only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio. We are calling it Doing The Mid-Summer Freak Out.

I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.

Set 5 was a beautifully introduced tribute to Little Steven's mother, Mary. Well done.
