Hey baby, Little Steven here.
Tune in this week to the Underground Garage for some extraordinarily important information that you cannot get anywhere else.
Such as what exactly was happening in 1958 that had a direct affect on your life, even though you weren’t born yet.
Who was that group called the Move?
Why was Jeff Beck not the first choice to replace Eric Clapton in the Yardbirds?
This is the important stuff unlike who won in New Hampshire, and who’s going to win in South Carolina. This is the stuff that actually affects your life.
Helping us explain these life-changing events will be the Rolling Stones, the Blues Magoos, the Dave Clark 5, Junior Walker & the All-Stars, Johnny Burnett & the Rock n’ Roll Trio, the Ronettes, and the Ramones.
Brand new music from the Black Keys, the Launderettes, Nils Lofgren, J.P. Soars, the Boo, and Dion has a new album.
It’s the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio. Guaranteed inspiration to get you through the work week.
I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.

GREAT SHOW. MR. LITTLE STEVEN. AKA THE BIG GUY.
I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC.THERE IS NOTHING BETTER IN THE WORLD.
Thank you very much, Little Steven, for yet another excellent 5 star show! You just keep on going. Yeah, Alan Feeed really got screwed. Elvis and his rockers were never the same after his gig in the Army. Great anecdote re: how Jeff Beck became The Yardbirds 2nd guitarist. I always wondered how the great Brit group, The Move, got their name and now I know thanks to you. I often hear The Grass Grow! Great tunes by Little Richard, Dave Clark Five, Blues Magoos, Jr. Walker, and, of course the Hollies best ever, Look Through Any Window. Have you learned how to play that opening riff yet by Tony Hicks? Great dvd out know that finally gives The Hollies their due and also shows that opening riff. Extremely cool connection to Train Kept A Rollin' from Rock n' Roll trio to The Yardbirds to Aeorosmith, who all do fine versions. Dion sounds great on the new Holly Brown. Are U sure that is a new release? I oughtta know not to question you, LS! Also good to hear anything by The Birds from the UK. Revenge by the Boo has got to br released. And Just One More Thing. Are You employed, Mr. Lebowski? EEYAHH!! SMRZ!!!
Oh my God!! I mispelled Alan Freed's name. Speaking of God, Please forgive me for that. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!!! More Pennance for me to pay now on the streets.
All good stuff. Nice history on Jeff and his musical journey.
Nils has a Rock'n song with Old School, like it.
Thanks Stevie
another cool show!!! KEEP ON ROCKIN LS!!!!
Another great show. Thanks, Stephen. I particularly liked your comment about someday this stuff might be in school. I smiled when I heard that because I'm a high school teacher who just this year got approved to teach a course in the history of rock and roll, and we're going to be listening to your show in a big way!!! :)
I apologize for not misspelling your name!
2nd correction...for misspelling it. I'm an idiot.
Great show, Steven. Never realized how the Move got their name. Listening to this show is like going to college.
in the last set you FINALLY confessed what i have suspected all along! this show is based on the British Invasion!!! :O
TOTALLY COOL BTW!!!!!!! :)
Great show..LS's show as always teaches us to appreciate the greats of rock history like Etta and Jerry Ragovoy..the Ronettes - listen to Ronnie Spector on the fade - and promotes the worthy new like The Boo's "I Want Revenge" (which is missing from the set list after The Ronette's "I Wonder").
The highlite of my week, without it i would be more empty than i am now
love this show and love you ls-t
groovey show!!!
