Show 510 - Whisky A Go-Go 2012

Air Date:

Tuesday, 10 January 2012

Hey baby, Little Steven here.

This weekend in the Underground Garage we are finishing up all family business for 2011.

We will be announcing the winner of the Hard Rock trip to San Diego, and we will be doing a tribute to four of the coolest people in Rock n’ Roll history.

Joining the Doors, the Byrds, Love, Buffalo Springfield, Aretha Franklin, Solomon Burke, Moby Grape, and the Kinks.

Brand new music from the Boo, JP Soars, Nils Lofgren, the Black Keys, and Michael Monroe.

It may have been a very weird year politically, but it was a very good year musically.

Join us for our final tribute to 2011 in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.

I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.

  • CHUCK BERRY ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC MAN

ROCK AND ROLL IS SATAN'S MUSIC. THE DEVIL'S MUSIC.

" Rap and Hip Hop are just other forms of rock music" We are living in a world where people have an eclectic music taste.

"Listen friend, Rock 'N' Roll music, rap, and Hip Hop are works of Satan, and such music invokes evil spirits ( DEMONS ). Hip Hop = The Devil. Don't believe it? Then listen to some of the Devil's children themselves concerning rock music ( and by the way, Rap and Hip Hop are just other forms of rock music ). The hallmark trait of Rock music is its driving devilish BEAT. Take away the beat and NOT one rap/hip hop album would sell."

Rock and Roll History ( Here is how ROCK AND ROLL evolved ). BLUES, R&B, ROCK, COUNTRY, REGGAE, AND HIP HOP. Most music GENRES have the Rock and Roll driving devilish beat in it which invokes evil spirits ( DEMONS ).

CHUCK BERRY (A BLACK MAN ) CREATED ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC OUT OF R&B FOR A WHITE AUDIENCE BECAUSE R&B WAS NOT ACCEPTED BY WHITES. ELVIS FOLLOWED CHUCK BERRY AND STARTED TO PLAY ROCK MUSIC TOO. THE BEATLES AND THE ROLLING STONES ( BRITISH INVASION ) FOLLOWED ETC. Remember the following,

"The hallmark trait of Rock music is its driving devilish BEAT which invokes evil spirits ( DEMONS )."

NOW YOU KNOW WHY MOST ROCK AND ROLL MUSICIANS HAVE TRAGIC DEATHS WHILE OTHERS SEEM TO LIVE FOREVER LIKE THE ROLLING STONES. Remember any music genre that has the Rock and Roll driving devilish beat invokes evil spirits ( DEMONS ).

ROCK AND ROLL IS SATAN'S MUSIC. THE DEVIL'S MUSIC. ANYBODY THAT FOLLOWS THE ROCK AND ROLL LIFESTYLE HAS MADE A PACT WITH SATAN ( THE DEVIL ). YOUR SOUL BELONGS TO HIM.

NOW ENJOY ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC MY FRIENDS. I ENJOY IT TOO.

    GREAT SHOW BY THE WAY.

Pleaese Sir, if you must insist on writing the same thing every week,PLEASE DONT!! You are polluting Little Steven's comment section, which is excellent. If you insist on being both an idiot AND a moron, at least come up with something new and different that has at least 1 oz. of credibility to it. Please, for the sake of all of the members of the Underground Garage, Shut The F. UP!! SMRZ!!!

Thank you once again, Little Steven, for another truly stellar 5 star show. Great tribute to the Whiskey, especially with Love, The Doors, and Buffalo Springfield. A truly great tribute to Jerry Wexler, who, as you said, changed the term "race music" to R&B, besides being an excellent producer. Also great to hear Moby Grape, The Kinks doing my fav from 1965, See My Friends, as well as Ten Wheel Drive whose 1st album I srill have. The Coolest Song of the week by the Black Keys from Akron, Ohio, has already raised the bar very high for the subsequent ones to follow. The whole album by them, El Camino, was my fav of 2011, as it was a late Nov.-Dec. release, and is KILLER!! And to top it off, a truly excellent tribute to the late great Peter Falk, who was great in both film and TV. And Just One More Thing!! EEYAHH!! SMRZ!!!

You certainly have the right to voice your opinion. After all, music is such a personal thing. I also like Erma and Garnet. But I saw Janis at Newport and Woodstock in 1969, as well as in Springfield, Ma. in 1970, and she was KILLER all three times. But I do understand where you are coming from on specifically, her singing style. Peace be with you and enjoy all time in the Underground Garage.

Funny how both Johnny Rivers songs that are usually played in the garage find themselves in the same show...
