Q107 in toronto refused to carry the show that night, that is how they reward a 34 year listener. Steven should drop them as a affiliate

Q107 is one of the worst radio stations in Toronto...Underground Garage should never had been on there anyway...I can guarantee that Hanoi Rocks or Mikey M have never been played on that station :)

Rock n Roll is alive and well, just not on Q107. They died in the 90's when they went "Classic Rock". The Underground Garage is the only 2 hours of RnR on the station every week. Thanks to the internet I still get to hear the shows they choose not to broadcast.

Great show on the best radio station anywhere. The Garage not Q107.

It truly was a very cool year for Rock N' Roll! Lotza great music out there and especially in the Underground Garage thanks to you, Little Steven. Love that Bollocksollogy by Sir Reg, Zeros by Christian McNeil & the Sea Monsters from Boston, Baby Woodrose, Beady Eye with The Roller, REM's farewell Mine Smells Like Honey, The great Smithereens, Candypants by the Dollmonds and the incredible J.P. Soars with Doggin'. JP has got to be related to Howlin' Wolf!! Keep it rockin' with Michael Monroe, Black Spartacus Heart Attack Machine by Tom Morello who is still Raging, DayDrunk by Butch Walker, Depression Times by Radio Queens which was just as timely this year, and my Fav which I voted for faithfully everyday, WOODSTOCK DAZE, which was voted #1 coolest song of the year by the still great Eddie Phillips from The Creation. Everybody that I know who heard it thought it was from a 60's compilation. Now if only it would come out on cd or even vinyl 'cause I don't do MP3 crap! Most definately, LS, Rock N' Roll is still very much alive and very well, despite what the lame critics say. CAN'T YOU FEEL IT! EEYAHH!!! SMRZ!!!

YES, it has been a great year for rock n roll since most music genres like HIP HOP play over rock n roll beats thanks to computers.

" Rap and Hip Hop are just other forms of rock music" We are living in a world where people have an eclectic music tastes.

"Listen friend, Rock 'N' Roll music, rap, and Hip Hop are works of Satan, and such music invokes evil spirits (demons). Hip Hop = The Devil. Don't believe it? Then listen to some of the Devil's children themselves concerning rock music (and by the way, Rap and Hip Hop are just other forms of rock music). The hallmark trait of Rock music is its driving devilish BEAT. Take away the beat and NOT one rap/hip hop album would sell."

Yeah, Rock is alive. Just finished Darkness on the Edge of Town Cd's and Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band proved it back in the 70's and today that Rock can't die.

    Thanks,

    Stevie

Where is Show # 510? How come it takes so long to get the shows on the site??????

First, thankyou Steven and the Underground Garage staff for starting this show and keeping it on!! I know it takes a whole lot of hard work, sweat, and commitment to do so and to try to keep it fresh. I have learned A LOT about rock and of bands that I now love that I had not gotten into or heard of, (Garbage and Transvision Vamp are two in particular of many).

However, rock is in a slump. Some good songs here but a whole lot of uninspring ones too imo. This happens in rock. If you think I'm kidding, listen to the New Years 2005 show #144, (I'm talking about the top songs from 2004; not the other earlier ones mixed in). And speaking of the older shows, where are shows 1-99? Some EXCELLENT shows in there from 2002-2003. Like the ORIGINAL Pirate Radio show and it's WONDERFUL 4th set. I understand if demand or staff is not there to do this or if there are legal problems bringing those shows back.

Thank you Little Steven! Though my bank account has suffered because I'm buying a lot of this great new music! Ah well, a guy must have priorities! And thanks for putting on Goldie's Garage, too! My band was lucky enough to get played on Genya's show in 2011. Very exciting!
