Who was the wildest, swingingest, kookiest DJ like ever?
There is a lot of possibilities, but the one with that Miami hat was Murray the K, and we are celebrating him this week in the Underground Garage.
Joining us will be the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Rascals, the Troggs, the Ronettes, the Raspberries, and the Impressions.
Brand new music from Spanking Charlene, Christian McNeil and the Sea Monsters, Eddie Phillips, J.P. Soars, Baby Woodrose, and the Launderettes.
Find out how the first FM radio got started.
Find out how the Who came to America.
Come fine out what Bob Seger, Bob Dylan, and Bob Womack have in common.
It is our tribute to Murray the K in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.
I’ll see you in the Underground Garage.

I've never seen Bobby Womack referred to as Bob before!!
All very very cool new & historical tunes. If Jeff Beck & Band stop in your City on his tour, you have to go and see him.
Jeff & his Band had Halifax in awe of his super wicked style on Oct 12th.
Thanks Stevie, real good show.
Baytown, Texas got the 2000 lb Bee.
Another great show and history lesson! Love the Who and Cream anecdotes. Would like to have a little more about Murray's connection with the Beatles. But I can never get enough unknown new stuff about the Fab Four!! As I said, another great show!!!
It's just a rerun aired for 8 or 9 times (w some new additions)!
as always even the repeats are COOL!!!! THANK YOU LS!!!!!! :)
Great show, Steve, haven't heard Deserted Cities of the Heart in a long time!
