We are going with Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and we are celebrating its 44th birthday this week.
Joining us will be all the other artists on the charts at the same time the week of Sgt. Pepper’s release.
Including Otis Redding, the Lovin’ Spoonful, the Tremolos, the Turtles, the Animals, the Hollies, the Easybeats, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, and the Grass Roots.
Brand new cool stuff from Candy Golde, Spanking Charlene, the Biters, Social Distortion, Flogging Molly, and Garland Jeffreys has a brand new record.
We are celebrating the greatest album ever made this weekend in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.

Great stuff, as is usual with this show --- I'd love for you to include Big Daddy's *full* Buddy-Holly-style rendition of "A Day in the Life", too, sometime (it was the ending bumper), to go along with the doo-wop "Sgt. Pepper" that begins it!

Nice dedication to the 4 from England. I saw Paul, his Band
in Halifax 2009. Everybody was amazed with his talent & showmanship. He does put on one of the best concerts in the world.

Little Steven, I just figured out what all those people have in common!!!! Of course, it would have been great if I didn't have a clue beforehand because I love solving puzzles on my own. But, the kind of "own" came when I bought the poster...and therein lies the revelation! Very clever...and I'm smilin' on that one.
