Hey baby, Little Steven here.
This is a very, very, very exciting week. Â It is the official end of winter as we come out of the Underground Garage and into the sunlight.
We are celebrating with some surf music this weekend.
We are celebrating the Rolling Stones coming to America.
We are celebrating James Bond.
Joining us will be the Beatles, the Stones, the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, the Impressions, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Johnny Rivers, and the Monkees.
Brand new music from Flogging Molly, Spanking Charlene, I see a theme emerging here, Candy Golde, and something new from Joey Ramone.
Come find out what the Surf Bunnies, Little Walter, and the Monkees have in common.
It’s Decoration Day, a.k.a. Memorial Day, this weekend in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.
Let the summer-long party begin.
I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.

Great show to ring in the summertime of hot rods, muscle cars, harleys & the girls in their summer clothes. (to borrow a line from Bruce)
This 'JW player', or whatever the heck it is, is an absolute CPU & storage hog. How about somebody F-I-X T-H-I-S ALREADY!!! Is anyone even reading any of these comments? Who does tech support for this website? Someone needs to FIX THIS!!!!
I have pleaded with these people about problems for years with absolutely no assistance. It's a shame. One of the best radio shows around and probably the worst web site ever. They son't seem to care. Maybe if you make comment at their Facebook page?
Giving up & quitting for now. This website player is a total CPU & storage HOG!!! 2G of memory on my PC & I can't do anything because of this!!! How about someone FIX THIS!!!
The Girls On The Beach. One of the greatest Beach Boys songs.
Interesting story about the 1964 R'Stones tour, but...
Their San Antonio appearance wasn't at the Texas State Fair. That Fair, or it predecessor, has been in Dallas for over a hundred years... :)
I've seen the same mistake on Wikipedia. Ya' can't believe everything you read on the internet...that's how WW I got started. :)~
Sorry to belabor a point here but as a native Dallasite who currently lives in San Antonio ... what John said. The Great State Fair of Texas celebrates its 125th anniversary in Dallas this fall. The Stones performed in San Antonio that summer for a teen fair at the Freeman Coliseum. All the difference in the world!
