Show 407 - CHICAGO 2010

Air Date:

Monday, 18 January 2010

Hey baby, Little Steven here with our Underground Garage weekly pop quiz of the week.

What was the coolest record company in the world?

Who had the wildest columnist on their newspapers?

Who had the coolest hoods?

That’s right, it’s our Underground Garage tribute to Chicago this weekend in the Underground Garage.

And you thought it was cold where you are?

Joining us will be the Rolling Stones, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, the Yardbirds, Cheap Trick, the Impressions, and the Beatles.

Fabulous new stuff from the Raveonettes, the Doughboys, the Len Price 3, Ronnie Spector with Keith Richards, the fabulous Verbs, I Was A King, and Tinted Windows.

Tune in and find out what Frank Sinatra, Chuck Berry, and Foghat have in common.

It’s our tribute to Chicago, this weekend, at the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio. I’ll see you in the Underground Garage.
