A lot of cool stuff happened forty years ago this summer… Including the Monterey International Pop Festival, and we are celebrating it this weekend in the Underground Garage with a lot of the artists who were actually there, like the Byrds, the Who, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and Big Brother and the Holding Company. We also have all the coolest new music as usual, such as the Len Price 3, the Shake, the Breakers, Peachfuzz, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the White Stripes, the Stooges, and the Foo Fighters. Find out what Otis Redding, Johnny Rivers, and Ravi Shankar have in common. It's the 40th anniversary of the Monterey International Pop Festival, this weekend in the Underground Garage.
