It's Memorial Day baby! Well, this weekend anyway, and the endless summer begins this weekend in the Underground Garage. We're celebrating surfing, hot chicks, hot cars, and hot dogs with Jan and Dean, the Foo Fighters, the Standells, the Monkees, the Ramones, the Beatles, and of course the Beach Boys. New cool music from Iggy and the Stooges, the Breakers, the Kaiser Chiefs, former lead singer of the Shangri-Las Mary Weiss, Peachfuzz, the Contrast, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, a lot of cool new records out, the Dollyrots, and the White Stripes. Find out what is the coolest movie song of all time. Find out who invented surfing. And find out what Gary U.S. Bonds, Paul Butterfield, and Curtis Mayfield have in common.
