The Underground Garage: Home / Radio Show / VIDEO OF THE DAY - ROLLING STONES
A+ R A-

on Tuesday, 26 July 2011.

Happy Birthday Mick!
Sir Michael Philip Jagger was born on this day - 1943, in Kent, England. To celebrate Mick's birthday our "Video of the Day" is a very cool clip from the Stones playing the T.A.M.I. Show - 1964.

Super Congrats on your 500th Dy-no-Mite show!!! Excuse me for sending you my good wishes a bit later than I had intended(on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011), but I had a busy week.
I have been a loyal listener from the beginning, and really enjoy your programs and music selection!!! I listen Sunday evenings starting at 10:00 p Cleveland, OH time.

It pleases me no end that you discuss - and play - lots of Yardbirds, J. Beck, J. Page, BBA and E. Clapton stuff, among many other fine musicians/groups [J. Satriani, C. Santana, Buffalo Springfield, etc.]!!!

I have been fortunate to have owned some precious Yardies/Led Zep/J. Beck/Neil Young/David Bowie bootleg vinyl albums since 1976, when I ordered a bunch of records from a company called Rare Records, based in N. Carolina. Not sure if this store still exists, but this music has made me very happy and blessed over the years. I was an undergrad. student at the Univ. of Cincinnati, Ohio between 1975 and 1978.

My brother Nicholas (Nick) also digs the type of music which you play. He is a self-taught (OK, he had 2-3 lessons from a "burghetto" bassist) guitarist and had bands here in Cleveland, OH and friends in Nashville, TN (where he still lives).

Long Live Little Steven's Underground Garage and Music!!!!!!

    Thank you,

    Geoffrey Hare ["Mr. Bunny"]
