FOR CLARENCE - FRIDAY ON SIRIUS XM

For anyone that missed "For Clarence", this coming Friday, July 1st Sirius XM will be running it on Underground Garage Channel 21 at 7 PM.

Little Steven's 2 hour tribute to “The Big Man” that reflects on the career of his larger-than-life bandmate and friend.

The program is made up of songs that feature the instantaneously recognizable sound of Clarence’s saxophone; be they from his solo career, his cameos on other artists’ records or his legendary work with the E Street Band.

Also included in the special are interview clips with Clarence and sound bites from his appearances in movies and TV programs. Of course, Little Steven interjects his thoughts on the passing of his lifelong friend and his legacy.

“FOR CLARENCE” – A  Little Steven tribute to Clarence Clemons this Friday night at 7 PM ET on Sirius XM Channel 21.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your friend. I was unable to listen to much of the tribute broadcast this past Sunday because I was attending a memorial service / benefit for a local Milwaukee rocker. I hope & pray that the tribute will be podcasted or rebroadcast on the old school radio. I'm a big fan & will miss the Big Man at the E Street Band shows. "If you believe in forever then life is just a one night stand. If there's a Rock and Roll heaven you know they've got a hell of a band." It just got loads better. Tim

Will we be able to access it soon on the website? I'm sure there are many fans of Clarence who would love to hear it.

U'd think the BBC had carefully kept the master tapes of sessions recorded for them. That's not the case with the ones of the Animals. Tracks for the 'Deluxe' recent edition had been taken from vinyl singles!

Immediately after leaving the Animals in early '65, Alan Price began touring the UK with B. Dylan, s/g he'd been proud of, indeed!
