Hey baby, Little Steven here.
This week in the Underground Garage we are celebrating the British Invasion.
It is the coolest music ever made, and the reason we are all here.
Joining us will be the band that started it all the Beatles, the Searchers, Herman’s Hermits, the Hollies, and the Easybeats.
We include the coolest new songs in the world of course by the High Dials out of Montreal, Beady Eye from Manchester England, the Dahlmanns from Oslo, R.E.M. from Athens Georgia, and Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band from somewhere in New Jersey.
It is the first of a two-part show.
Tune in and find out where everything you like came from.
It’s the only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio. I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.
