Hey baby, Little Steven here with our Underground Garage preview.
Playing at this week’s audio cinema: Part 3 of our Love Trilogy: Rebirth.
Yes it’s a little early for spring, but after the pain and anguish of love, we thought we would end the trilogy on a positive note.
Helping us celebrate will be Cheap Trick, Big Star, the Kinks, the Turtles, the Ramones, the Dave Clark 5, and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
The best new music in the world featuring the Dahlmanns, R.E.M. has a cool new one, the High Dials, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Beady Eye, and the Contrast.
Tune in for our happy ending. And who do you like better; the Troggs, the Hollies, or the Cream?
It doesn’t matter because we have all three in the world’s only Rock n’ Roll dance party on the radio.
I’ll see you this weekend in the Underground Garage.

I need a playlist, please.
The "Revenge" show is always the best part of St. Valentine's Day "as it is currently done" --- I miss the old, original one-shot show that centered on the Massacre, but until Steven brings that one back, this is *it*. Feel free to *always* include the CK's "I Don't Understand, even though it's not "current" anymore --- it's a "modern classic" :-D, and one tough "piece o' the rock"! "I Wanna Destroy You" by The Soft Boys rather "says it all", too, no? :-) I think the only thing I'd add to the worthy tracks above is something truly "obvious", the J. Geils Band's "Love Stinks" (probably the "ultimate SVD song" LOL!). It'd be great, sometime, to include Meat Loaf / Jim Steinman's "Paradise By the Dashboard Light", but "we don't do 8-9 minute songs around here" *chuckle!*.
