Show 357 - THE SUPERBOWL

Air Date:

Sunday, 01 February 2009

Are you ready for some football, baby?

It doesn’t really matter because we’re going to have fun at our Underground Garage Super Bowl party if we watch the game or not.

Joining us will be the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, R.E.M., Dusty Springfield, the Monkees, the Raspberries, the Ramones, and Marvin Gaye.

We’re giving equal time to both Pittsburgh and Arizona bands, and playing the coolest new stuff from Norway with the Yum Yums, San Diego’s Night Marchers, England’s Pigeon Detectives, and a brand new record from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

So tune in and find out what Andy Warhol, Joe Namath, and Hank Williams Jr. have in common.

It’s our Super Bowl Rock n’ Roll dance party this weekend, in the Underground Garage.

The Love Me Nots are played in set 5, not set 4... Also, the Yardbirds' "For your Love" is not played at all in the show...
